Match on action

This clip of Soul Surfer is a good example of match on action. Around the first 30 seconds of this clip is very action packed as it shows the two competitors racing against each other to catch the next wave. The camera switches from camera angle to camera angle which breaks up the scene to show that they both trying to get somewhere.

My own creation.

Self made scene.
Here is my own creation of a scene where mise en scene could be analaysed. In this scene the postioning of the characters could show the tension that has been created over the possesion of the treasure chest as they are on opposite sides. Also the postioning of the charatcters help to demonstarte the two different sides. that are fighting for the chest. The camera angle of this scene is a long shot which enables us to be able to see all of the characters involved in the scene, the long shot here helps to show tension again as this scence has been priamrly created to show the tension.

Mise en scene

Mean girls.
The lighting in this shot is quite well lit, which could help to simulate a relaxed happy atmosphere. The costume also helps to highlight this too, they are able to wear casual clothes to school which could show that there school life isnt that stressful. The people in the background show the more stressful side to there school life as they all are packed together and seem to be rushing around.
